Andalusia has administered 34% of the vaccines received against monkeypox

Andalusia continues to advance in the administration of monkeypox vaccines. In the last three days, in the autonomous community they have administered 40 doses of this preparation, raising the total to 510 guidelines inoculated. Thus, to date they have already administered the 34.6% of vials received –Andalusia has received 1,470 vaccines so far.

While the vaccination campaign continues its course, in Andalusia 217 cases remain active of this zoonotic disease, 29 less than in the last update. The community thus reduces the number of infections again in this new day, while 72 cases continue under research.

Likewise, 472 cases of monkeypox have been discarded in these last three days, according to the Andalusian Epidemiological Surveillance System Network (SVEA). Meanwhile, 584 previously confirmed cases are already inactive in Andalusia.

By provinces, Seville continues to be the most affected, with 83 active cases. For its part, Malaga ranks second after reduce again The number of active cases. Currently, the province has 66 people infected for monkeypox, three less than in the last update.

In third place is Cádiz, with 18 active cases; Huelva, with 17; Granada, with 15 and Córdoba, with 12. Finally, Almería and Jaén are located, both with three active cases of monkeypox.
