Cupra launches the Formentor VZ5 Taiga Grey, a limited edition of 46 units for Spain
The automobile firm Cupra has launched a special edition of the Formentor VZ5, called Taiga Grey, whose world production is limited to 999 units, of which 46 will be for Spain, according to a company statement. The Cupra Formentor VZ5 Taiga Gray combines the 2.5 TSI five-cylinder engine, which delivers 390 horsepower, with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission and an advanced and configurable chassis with 10 millimeters lower ground clearance.
In addition, it includes the Torque Splitter system for selective torque control, which allows the torque to be distributed between the front and rear axles to optimize traction, as well as the distribution between the left and right wheels of the rear axle. This limited edition has an exclusive exhaust system, a brake system with six-piston Akebono calipers on the front wheels, exclusive 20-inch wheels, carbon fiber elements that improve the model’s aerodynamics and various driving modes. , among others.
Each unit of the model, which is manufactured at the Martorell (Barcelona) plant, will include the unit number laser-engraved on the driver’s door panel with a distinctive shadow effect. The Formentor VZ5 edition is offered with a unique body color called Taiga Grey, and an interior also exclusive to this edition that incorporates ‘bucket’ seats in brown leather with Copper color stitching, also present on the door panel and the dashboard. As for its equipment, it does not have optional elements, since it is a ‘full equip’ series. The Taiga Gray edition, in addition to what the Formentor VZ5 already equips, introduces the Beats Audio sound system, pre-collision assistant, knee airbag for the driver, rear side airbags and volumetric alarm. The new limited edition Cupra Formentor VZ5 Taiga Gray is now available in the Spanish market for 73,590 euros.
