Grupo Dia renews its leadership model

Madrid, August 30, 2022. The Board of Directors of Grupo Dia, at the initiative of its president Stephan DuCharme, has approved the appointment of Martín Tolcachir, until now CEO of Dia Argentina, as Global CEO of Grupo Dia. Tolcachir will assume the company’s strategy at a global level and will lead the execution of the acceleration strategy towards growth in all the countries in which it operates.

The new CEO will work side by side with Stephan DuCharme, who after concluding the redirection phase of the company will continue to be closely linked to Dia and will continue with his non-executive functions as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

With this new corporate governance structure, by separating the functions of the president and the CEO, Grupo Dia seeks to accelerate its sustainable and profitable growth, concentrating on the development of its strategic priorities and maintaining a closer and closer relationship with all its stakeholders. .
