If you have a Samsung Smart TV, you have Apple TV + free for 3 months: this is how you can activate it
Do you have a Samsung TV in your living room? Well, I may have good news for you. The manufacturer is offering three months of Apple TV + free everyone with a Samsung Smart TV released in 2018 or later. You have to meet some conditions, but it is a good way to fully enter Apple’s catalog of series and movies.
Apple TV + free three months in exchange for a conveniently configured Apple ID
These are the conditions of the promotion that Samsung itself has sent us in a press release:
- You must have purchased a Samsung Smart TV model released in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 or 2022.
- You must be over 13 years old.
- You must have an Apple ID that has never subscribed to Apple TV+.
- Only three free months are allowed for each TV and each Apple ID.
- The Apple ID must have a payment method associated with it and you must turn on the automatic renewal of the Apple TV+ subscription to get three free months. Of course, you can always unsubscribe before that renewal to avoid paying anything.
If you meet all these conditions you can download, install, and open the Apple TV+ app which will most likely be displayed on your system’s home screen. Once you open it, you can follow some instructions to activate the promotion, which will require you to identify yourself with your Apple ID.
The promotion is active from today and until November 28 this year, so you have a few weeks to decide. If you have consumed several weeks of Apple TV + for free, you may not be able to enjoy those three months, although you might have one or two. Try your luck, you lose nothing by trying.
