Imagin (CaixaBank) reaches four million users, 36% more than a year ago

Two out of three users access the app more than three times a week

Imagin, the digital services platform promoted by CaixaBank, has reached four million users in its second year of activity, which represents a growth of 36% compared to June last year.

In a statement this Tuesday, he explained that the platform is “leader” among the main neobanks and ‘fintechs’, with a market share of 12.9% in Spain, according to data from Smartme Anaylitics, in addition to being one of the applications with more active users in the last 12 months, with an annual growth of 40% this year.

This application has grown in new users and has managed to increase the loyalty of those who already used it, since, in the last year, two out of three users have accessed the application more than three times a week on average.

They have detailed that in June of this year more than 39 million accesses to the application were registered in just one month, and more than 6.7 million monthly operations were carried out through Bizum.

The growth of Imagin responds to the strategy of boosting the loyalty of its users through the creation of digital, financial and non-financial services, which “unlike traditional banking, do not necessarily imply registering as a bank customer”, he stressed. .

NEW SERVICES

In the last year, the platform has launched new services around its main programs: sustainability (imaginPlanet), music (imaginMusic) and trends (imaginCafé).

Imagin has stated that it is still committed to promoting awareness of sustainable development among its users, and has launched a new functionality in its application so that users can calculate their carbon footprint.

Also, in January, the second edition of the imaginPlanet Challenge was launched, an initiative to support young people with entrepreneurial ideas to mitigate climate change, and imaginLand, a space in the metaverse, was inaugurated, among others.
