OFFICIAL | LEANDRO PAREDES IS A JUVENTUS PLAYER
**Born in San Justo, Argentina, on June 29, 1994, Leandro returns to Italy after five seasons away from Serie A, ready to bring dynamism and energy with his usual determination and quality. Going back to his beginnings, he began his career with the Boca Juniors shirt. Paredes made his debut with the first team at the age of 16, and accumulated 30 appearances and 5 goals. Chievo Verona allowed him to reach Italy, then go to Rome and leave on loan to Empoli. He then returned to the Giallorossi discipline as a key component of the midfield. His next step was in Russia, with Zenit St. Petersburg. After 61 games and 10 goals, in the Russian Premier League he won the first of his 11 titles. Paris was the Argentine’s destination before he arrived at Juve. With PSG, Paredes won the French Cup twice, the French Super Cup three times, one League Cup and three Ligue 1 titles. The statistics prove his category: Lean completed 91.6% of his passes, and since January of 2019 only Marco Verratti surpassed that record in the contest. He was the third player with the most recoveries within that period. With the Copa América conquered with Argentina, he added to his international record, a triumph that he enjoyed together with Ángel Di María, scorer of the winning goal in the final against Brazil. Now they will be together again!
