As explained by its own Sonyhave entered into an agreement to acquire Savage Game Studios, a team of hugely talented creatives with many years of experience creating some of the most popular mobile games.
Savage Game Studios was founded a few years ago with the goal of fearlessly exploring new ideas. And according to Sony, how they share the same ambition to innovate, together with the continuous drive to expand and bring PlayStation to more people than ever before, have made Savage Game Studios the perfect choice to join PlayStation Studios.
The head of Savage Game Studios revealed in a statement that he and his team can’t wait to show fans what they’ve been working on these last few months.
We made this deal because we believe that the leadership of PlayStation Studios respects our vision of how we can best operate and be successful, and because they are also not afraid to take risks. All of that, plus the ability to potentially tap into PlayStation’s incredible pool of IP and the fact that we’ll benefit from the kind of support that only they can provide.
