Xiaomi presented its model 12S Ultra last July, becoming the phone with the best camera developed by the company to date. A smartphone that, despite having been listed in the brand’s global catalogue, we still have serious doubts as to whether it will end up leaving China, unlike the future Xiaomi 13Ultra.
Xiaomi’s CEO, Lei Junwas asked about the recently presented model since there has been a lot of controversy between what was initially announced by the company, that the phone would be destined exclusively for the Chinese market and its appearance on the global web.
Lei Jun confirmed through his Twitter account that the 12S Ultra would not go on sale outside the country, but he did assure that the model that will replace it, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will finally reach the international market.

This year Xiaomi did not launch the expected 12 Ultra that ended up becoming the current 12S Ultra incorporating the best processor and camera on the market. But it seems that the future Xiaomi 13 series is on the right track and the 13 Ultra will arrive in the first half of 2023.
