Welcome Jairo Quinteros! | Real Zaragoza Official Website
Real Zaragoza has reached an agreement with Jairo Quinteros for the incorporation of the Bolivian player to our club. The 21-year-old center-back (Santa Cruz de la Sierra, 2/7/2001), underwent a medical examination at the Quironsalud clinic in Zaragoza and signed his contract that binds him to our club for two seasons.
Jairo began in the lower categories of the Ciudad Jardín Football School in Cartagena to later join the youth team of Valencia Club de Fútbol. During his stay at the Valencian club, he combined a season on loan in the Cartagena youth team. Jairo’s defensive qualities in the Valencia youth team, with whom he also participated in the UEFA Youth League, made him sign for MLS’s Inter Miami, from which he left on loan to Club Bolívar, where he played in the 2020 Copa Libertadores.
In addition, Quinteros has already been an absolute international with his national team, Bolivia, playing a total of 14 games, also participating in the 2020 South American U-23 Pre-Olympic and the 2019 South American U-20. Real Zaragoza thus incorporates a player who he stands out for his high level of concentration and his speed, as well as for his good aerial game. Versatile, he can adapt to the two profiles of the central zone and the right back, where he has already been used on different occasions.
Welcome, Jairus!
